BTS Achieves 200 Million Views for ’2.0’ Music Video: What Makes It Stand Out?
BTS's '2.0' Music Video Hits 200 Million Views in Just Six Months

BTS has achieved another milestone as their music video for "2.0" surpassed 200 million views. The video hit this impressive mark around 9:30 PM on the 22nd, roughly six months after its initial release.
"2.0" is a track from BTS's fifth studio album "Arirang," which dropped on March 20. The song blends hip-hop and trap genres, featuring an unconventional rhythm. Its lyrics, "Yeah, it's easy to say like BTS / But who jumps over the hurdles every day?" highlight the group's journey to success. The track made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, landing at No. 50 on April 4.
The music video has garnered attention for its striking visuals and innovative direction. It pays homage to the famous corridor fight scene from Park Chan-wook's "Oldboy," utilizing a one-take technique in a narrow hallway. The video's progression from a dingy elevator to a luxurious penthouse serves as a metaphor for BTS's rise to stardom.
Other tracks from "Arirang" are also performing well. The music videos for the title track "SWIM" and "Hooligan" have each surpassed 100 million views. "2.0" leads the pack as the first video from the album to reach the 200 million view milestone.
