Broadcaster Ji Yeon-soo recently took a trip down memory lane, recalling her hectic days as a racing model. In a video titled "Record-Breaking Shopping Live Sales Thanks to Our Subscribers! [I Love You, Min-soo]" on her YouTube channel "Ji Yeon-soo's Learning," she shared behind-the-scenes stories while en route to her debut live home shopping broadcast.

When asked if she was nervous about her first home shopping gig, Ji candidly replied, "I'm not jittery, just hungry. I've gotten into this habit of not eating while working."

On the 12th, a video titled 'Record-Breaking Shopping Live Sales Thanks to Our Subscribers! [I Love You, Min-soo]' was released on the YouTube channel 'Ji Yeon-soo's Learning'. In the video, Ji Yeon-soo shared stories about her time as a racing model with the production team while on her way to her first-ever live home shopping broadcast.

When asked by the production team if she was nervous about her first home shopping broadcast, Ji Yeon-soo replied, "I'm not nervous, but I'm hungry. I've developed a habit of not eating while working."

This dietary quirk, Ji explained, stemmed from her racing model days. "Of course, I'd fast during modeling, but I'd feast during breaks," she reminisced. "Back then, skipping lunch meant I couldn't even stand up straight."

Ji highlighted the thoughtfulness of her fans, who would refrain from snapping photos right after meals.

"When I was modeling, I'd have one lunch. After that, during photo time, my fan club would give me an hour's grace period. It was their way of being considerate," she explained. With a chuckle, she added, "When we'd review the photos, my stomach would be poking out. I'm only human, after all!"

Ji also fondly remembered her fan club. "We had three fan club presidents: Yeon-soo, Yeo-reum, and Terra. We called ourselves the 'Nyaongi Club,' and I was known as 'Yeon-soo Nyaongi.'"

Reflecting on her packed schedule as a racing model, Ji shared, "Typically, a team contract means one race, but I signed up for four, hitting the track every Sunday. That's how I ended up making headlines as the most frequent racing model."

Expressing gratitude towards her fans, Ji recalled, "Every Sunday, I'd be at the racetrack, always arriving hungry in the morning. My amazing fans would come to the rescue with chicken and loads of snacks."

Ji also humorously recounted her quest for the best meals at the track. "When I was with the host team, Kumho Tire always had the best spread. I'd sneak over during lunch and blend in like I was part of their crew," she laughed. "There was even a day when Korea Tire had this amazing buffet set up, and you bet I helped myself to that too!"

Ji Yeon-soo has since transitioned from racing model to broadcaster. In 2014, she tied the knot with Eli from the K-pop group U-KISS, who is 11 years her junior, and welcomed a son. However, the couple divorced in 2020. Currently, Ji is raising her son as a single mother, while Eli announced his remarriage this past June.
