Despite being in the late stages of pregnancy, Hathaway fully committed to her promotional duties. "Verity" follows Rowen (Dakota Johnson), a ghostwriter tasked with completing the novel of Verity (Anne Hathaway), a bestselling author left unable to walk or speak after an accident. The plot thickens when Rowen uncovers hidden autobiographical manuscripts in Verity's mansion, exposing the couple's secrets and plunging her into a web of intrigue.

Dakota Johnson turned heads in a white fringe dress, while Josh Hartnett looked dapper in a black suit. During interviews, the cast teased the film's provocative nature and numerous plot twists.
