SBS’s ’거장항준’: What to Expect from This Unique Casting Talk Show?
SBS's new cinematic talk show for casting a biographical film set to premiere on the 15th

SBS has unveiled a star-studded poster featuring Jang Hang-jun, Song Eun-i, and Kim Poong for its upcoming variety show 'Master Hang-jun.' The program, slated to debut on the 15th, takes the form of a cinematic talk show disguised as a casting audition for Jang Hang-jun's biopic.
The newly released poster captures the trio in dapper tuxedos, flashing million-dollar smiles while clutching golden trophies. This tongue-in-cheek imagery playfully nods to their Oscar-winning aspirations, setting the tone for the show's comedic approach.
'Master Hang-jun' operates under a dynamic 'Master Squad' structure. At its helm is Jang Hang-jun, flanked by Song Eun-i as the production company head and Kim Poong as the assistant director. Song Eun-i, Jang's long-time collaborator, and the wildcard Kim Poong promise to deliver a potent mix of wit and banter, creating an electric on-screen chemistry.
The show's premise revolves around Jang Hang-jun's quest to cast A-list talent for his autobiographical film. Viewers can expect unfiltered conversations, razor-sharp humor, and behind-the-scenes drama as stars vie for roles in the fictional biopic. The psychological chess game of casting decisions adds an extra layer of intrigue to the proceedings.
At the helm of this innovative format are directors Lee Dong-won and Gam Yu-min, with Kim Myung-jeong penning the script. Content Lab Vivo joins as co-producer, bringing additional creative firepower to the project.
Mark your calendars: 'Master Hang-jun' premieres on SBS at 9 PM on Thursday, the 15th.
