Inside the Life of Asian Stars: Lee Joon-gi and Sakaguchi Kentaro’s Culinary Adventure with Hong Jin-kyung
Hong Jin-kyung's Culinary Delights Wow Guests... 'Kidnap Game' Stars Dish on Behind-the-Scenes

Actors Lee Joon-gi and Sakaguchi Kentaro recently paid a visit to celebrity chef Hong Jin-kyung's home, serving up a feast of conversation about food, travel, and on-set shenanigans.
On October 1, Hong's YouTube channel 'Study King Genius Hong Jin-kyung' dropped a mouthwatering video titled "Kentaro and Lee Joon-gi Spill the Tea on Asian Stardom (featuring Hong Jin-kyung's To-Die-For Braised Short Ribs)".
The duo swung by Hong's swanky Pyeongchang-dong pad, where Hong couldn't help but gush over Lee's youthful looks, exclaiming, "You're seriously aging backwards, Joon-gi!" when she learned his actual age.
Sakaguchi, a self-proclaimed restaurant hopper during his Korea trips, admitted, "This is probably my first time chowing down in a Korean home." After sampling Hong's homemade spread, he couldn't stop raving, "This is insanely good!"

When Hong pointed out the rarity of home visits, Kentaro agreed, "Yeah, it's not something I do often." As they toured the house, both actors were floored by its grandeur. "This pad is anything but average," Kentaro marveled, with Lee chiming in, "Absolutely not your run-of-the-mill digs." Kentaro was equally impressed by the killer views.
Hong kept the culinary hits coming, urging her guests to "Pretend you're at a restaurant and dig in!" Her pièce de résistance? Personally preparing crab sauce over rice, which had both men singing praises after just one bite.
Lee also dished on his own kitchen skills, confessing, "I dabble in cooking now and then. Used to do it more, but these days I'm feeling the laziness creep in."
The pair then spilled some tea about their time filming 'Kidnap Game'. Lee reminisced, "I made it my mission to introduce Kentaro to the best Korean grub. Pretty sure I dragged him to a Korean joint every chance I got."
When Hong quizzed Kentaro about his drinking prowess, Lee jumped in with, "We're drinking buddies till the last call," hinting at their off-camera bonding sessions.
The conversation then turned to personal charms. When asked about his best feature, Lee quipped, "My nose is pretty on point." He then playfully added, "Kentaro's got that puppy dog vibe, while I'm more feline chic," cracking everyone up.
On the topic of recent joys, travel topped Lee's list. "I've been a bit of a homebody," he admitted. "Always felt like I should be working, but now that I'm in my 40s, I'm finally hitting the road. Just thinking about traveling puts a smile on my face."

Sakaguchi shared his own simple pleasure: "That moment after wrap when I'm deciding what to eat – pure bliss."
'Kidnap Game' marks the first collaboration between Lee and Sakaguchi. The high-stakes drama, centered around a massive kidnapping plot spanning seven Asian cities, is set to premiere on October 6 at 10 PM.
