Han Ga-in Wows in 'Rookie Cops 4,' Boosting Ratings

Actress Han Ga-in made a splash on set, reuniting with her industry doppelganger Kim Dong-jun and sharing behind-the-scenes moments from her first drama appearance in eight years.

On May 17, Han's YouTube channel 'Free Woman Han Ga-in' released footage of her guest appearance on ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Rookie Cops 4: Sabotage.' The video shows Han stepping into the role of 'Jeon Woo-joo,' sister to Kim Dong-jun's character Jeon Se-gye.

Han's surprise was evident when she arrived on set and discovered her 11-page script. "This is a lot!" she exclaimed, clutching the script even during makeup, determined to nail her performance.

Kim Dong-jun's excitement was palpable upon reuniting with Han. Director Min Jin-ki warmly welcomed her, saying, "I've been dying to work with you for two years." Kim quipped, "We've never had such a lively atmosphere on the 'Rookie Cops' set before," praising Han as the epitome of confident beauty. He added humorously, "I just realized we use reflectors on set," eliciting laughter from the crew.

Reflecting on her return to acting, Han shared, "It's been about eight years since I've been on a drama set. Arriving early this morning brought back all those forgotten feelings." She expressed deep appreciation for the crew's hard work.

Han's star power helped propel the May 14 episode of 'Rookie Cops 4: Sabotage' to impressive ratings. The show scored 4.6% nationwide and 4.2% in the Seoul metropolitan area, with peak viewership hitting 5.2%, securing the top spot in its time slot.

Han Ga-in first caught the public eye in a 2002 Asiana Airlines commercial. She later cemented her status as a ratings magnet with hits like MBC's 'The Moon Embracing the Sun' and the film 'Architecture 101.'
