Ha Ji-won Reveals Unconventional Fitness Regimen on 'You Quiz'

Veteran actress Ha Ji-won stunned viewers with her age-defying appearance and rigorous self-care routine on a recent episode of tvN's popular variety show.

During the September 2 broadcast of 'You Quiz on the Block,' Ha shared insights into her daily regimen and career milestones. The actress, who recently portrayed a college freshman in a web series, reminisced about her groundbreaking 2002 cover for 'University Tomorrow' magazine. She expressed excitement about reprising her role as cover model after a 24-year hiatus.

Despite being in her late 40s, Ha maintains a youthful glow rivaling her 20-something self. She attributes this to a keen awareness of her body's needs. "I start each day by assessing my skin's hydration levels," Ha revealed. Her routine includes cold therapy and gua sha massage. The actress also disclosed her habit of daily weigh-ins and meticulous body checks, including scrutinizing for cellulite.

Ha's fitness approach raised eyebrows for its unconventional nature. "I focus on one specific movement daily, anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes, pushing my muscles to their limits," she explained. "It's about maintaining that stretch and really connecting with your muscles." Her dietary habits are equally intriguing. "For over a decade, I've been adding olive oil to everything - rice, soup, you name it," Ha shared. "I also swear by a daily dose of lemon and honey."

Since her 1996 debut, Ha has carved out an impressive career spanning both television and film. Her notable works include dramas like 'Damo,' 'What Happened in Bali,' 'Hwang Jini,' 'Secret Garden,' and 'Empress Ki,' as well as blockbuster movies such as 'Sex Is Zero,' 'Haeundae,' and 'Closer to Heaven.'
