Former I.O.I member Joo Kyulkyung made a surprise appearance at the group’s 10th anniversary concert on the 22nd and 23rd, effectively quashing rumors of discord among the members.

Joo Kyulkyung took to her personal social media to share multiple photos and videos from the 2026 I.O.I Concert, accompanied by pink heart emojis. The snapshots captured her singing along to the performances and taking cozy selfies backstage with fellow members Yoo Yeonjung, Chungha, Kim Sejeong, Jeon Somi, and Choi Yoojung, showcasing their enduring bond.

The post quickly garnered affectionate responses from I.O.I members. Jeon Somi expressed her heartfelt sentiment with “We adore you so much,” while Kim Doyeon chimed in with “My Kyulkyung.” Lim Nayoung added a touching “Thank you, Kyulkyung,” and Choi Yoojung gushed, “I love you to the moon and back, sis,” highlighting their tight-knit relationship.

Celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, I.O.I dropped their third mini-album ‘I.O.I: LOOP’ on the 19th of last month, making a comeback with the title track “Suddenly.” However, when members Kang Mina and Joo Kyulkyung couldn’t participate in group activities due to scheduling conflicts, some fans speculated about potential discord within the group.

To address these concerns, Kang Mina attended the Seoul concert, effectively dismissing the rumors. Now, Joo Kyulkyung’s appearance at the Hong Kong show further cements the group’s solidarity, proving their unwavering loyalty to each other.

I.O.I, the project girl group formed through Mnet’s ‘Produce 101’ in 2016, wrapped up their 10th anniversary Asia tour on a high note. The tour kicked off in Seoul last month, made a stop in Bangkok, and concluded with a spectacular performance in Hong Kong on the 21st.
